Created In HIM (Part 3): Separating The "Do" From The "Be"

As the Bride of the BRIDEGROOM, identified in the previous post as JESUS CHRIST/THE WORD, it is imperative for us to fully understand, submit to, and commit to oneness, by the HOLY SPIRIT of the LIVING GOD. Why? Because it is fundamental to the character and nature of GOD.

How GOD operates is always consistent with WHO HE is. In fact, HIS Personal qualities give birth to HIS Functional capabilities; not the other way around.

~~~
WHO GOD is defines what HE does, and
what HE does will always be in agreement (one) with WHO HE is.
~~~

We, on the other hand, try to make what we do account for who we are.  This imbalance creates a lack of integrity in our character that results in compromise.  Compromise is entirely absent from the character, nature and person of GOD.  As those possessed by HIS HOLY SPIRIT (if we have allowed ourselves to be), compromise should be entirely absent from us as well.

~~~
Our "do-ing" must flow out of our "be-ing".
~~~

Our "be-ing" will never flow out of our "do-ing" because it is illegal in the Kingdom of GOD.  Everything in the Kingdom is based upon our relationship to HIM and even further, our ongoing relationship with HIM.  No manner or quantity of works can substitute for that relationship.

We are created in relationship with HIM to do works by HIS SPIRIT.  Apart from relationship with HIM, we are nothing.  Apart from HIS HOLY SPIRIT, we can do nothing.  Our be-ing with HIM will always override our doing for HIM.  If HE has us, then, in the NAME of JESUS and by the power of the HOLY SPIRIT, HE will fulfill the "do" in us.

HE never intended for us to find, or even attempt to find, our identities in jobs, careers, ministries, or even in each other.  HE designed us simply to find our identity in HIM because that's where it originated.

Our "be-ing" must be completely unified in, and one with GOD, through JESUS CHRIST, and by the power of HIS HOLY SPIRIT.  Anything else is compromise, and therefore, not of GOD because there is no compromise in HIM.
